Privacy

Last updated 21 November 2025.

Adjectives Are Evil is a domain created years ago and resurrected in August 2025 by Sharonda Woodfin so that she might post stuff she wants her wife to read.

You can read it, too, if you want to.

If you aren't a member of the Adjectives Are Evil site, you have very little to worry about in terms of this site violating your privacy.

I, Sharonda Woodfin, don't store personally identifiable information on non-member visitors to Adjectives Are Evil.

If you aren't a member of the Adjectives Are Evil site, the site won't serve you cookies and I, personally, won't have access to your personally identifiable information.

Plausible Analytics

Traffic data for this site are collected through Plausible Analytics.

According to Plausible:

...all the site measurement is carried out absolutely anonymously. Cookies are not set and no personal data is collected. All data is in aggregate only.

jsDelivr

According to Ghostery's free tracker and ad blocker extension, this site also makes use of jsDelivr's CDN. According to Jannis Fedoruk-Betschki, the fellow who runs Magic Pages (where Adjectives Are Evil is hosted):

Out of the box, Ghost uses a specialised CDN named jsDelivr to serve certain static files for features like the membership portal and Ghost's search functionality. When your site makes a call to jsDelivr, it transmits the user's IP address to fetch the necessary files.

You can read jsDelivr's Terms & Policies for yourself. If you're interested, you may also want to read How the German court’s ruling on Google Fonts affects jsDelivr and why it is safe to use from the jsDelivr blog.

The jsDelivr CDN is a part of Ghost (the content management system upon which Adjectives Are Evil is built), and I don't have the technical know-how to remove and replace it. I wish I did. I would prefer that the site be more privacy-friendly.

Membership

That said, there are a few things that I know and control.

If you are a member of the Adjectives Are Evil site, I'll know whatever name you've chosen to use, whatever email address you've chosen to supply, and whatever information you choose to supply when and if you leave a comment on a post or page.

I, Sharonda Woodfin, can and will delete that information upon your request.

Unless you happen to be either me or my wife, you aren't a member of the Adjectives Are Evil site.
